Biography

Darlene and twin sister Carol were born in Los Angeles as Bernaola-Camacho. Their mother's name is Dilma Bernaola. They moved to Peru (her mother's home country) when she was two years old and her parents divorced. She moved to Miami when she was sixteen with her sister Carol. The first night there they slept in the bathroom of the airport. They got jobs at McDonalds, and later worked as maids and as nannys to support themselves.

Darlene has a small mole on the left side of her nose. Twin sister Carol does not.

Dated and became engaged to N.Y. Mets catcher Mike Piazza. [March - October 2000]

Daughter was born in August 2001. Multi-millionaire, computer genius turned nightclub owner Shawn Lewis is the father.
